TRIBUTE TO MALCOLM HOLCOMBE
Malcolm has been too ill to travel, and this tribute concert is our way of acknowledging how
much his music has meant to us.
Malcolm Holcombe is a singer-songwriter, originally from Weaverville, NC. His 1999 release on
Geffen Records was produced by Steve Soles (Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, etc.), and got rave
reviews for good reason, it’s a masterpiece.
Justin Townes Earle compared Malcolm to Tom Waits and Leonard Cohen, as a songwriter
whose music is so original, and powerful that it’s as if he created a whole new genre.
