1a casual photograph made typically by an amateur with a small handheld camera

2an impression or view of something brief or transitorya snapshot of life back then
Artist william cordova has organized tomorrow never knows: snapshots of the Beatles, a selection of photographs from his personal archive of vintage Silver Gelatin prints and Color photos of the Beatles rock group dating back from early-mid 1960s till the early 1980s. Cordova’s selection of photos differs from mainstream iconic images of John, Paul, George and Ringo by focusing on everyday, casual photos, mostly taken by “fans” and amateur photographers. Instances of personal, intimate moments captured through the years mostly off stage.. Ringo Starr and family strolling through NY city. George Harrison and Reggae star Bob Marley embracing in solidarity. Paul McCartney and John Lennon hanging out with Billy Preston (the only non-member of the group to be given credit with Lennon-McCartney on the Beatles Get Back single release).
