SUNDOWN SOUND with HONEY HORIZON 7:30pm- $10 COVER CHARGE
Sundown Soundcreates eclectic, heartfelt original music channeling diverse influences of acoustic rock, Americana, jazz, bluegrass, blues, folk, and progressive alternative genres. Thought-provoking, socially conscious lyrics explore themes ranging from the spiritual and metaphysical, to love, and beauty. Sundown Sound at root is a feeling, one that creates a bond with their audience, while injecting good doses of humor and fun. Hailing from South Florida, the band is comprised of songwriters Mike Matthews (vocals, guitar, bass, mandolin, banjo), Daniel Wolpin (vocals, guitar), Mano Pila (percussion, vocals), and Tate Earle (vocals, guitar, bass, blues harp). In these days of AI and computer-generated music-making, Sundown Sound is on a mission to prove that homemade, hand-crafted music is viable and vital.
Honey Horizon are hard-core lovers of music from every decade, featuring Lana Yvonne Pearson on lead vocals, & Kevin Christopher Reid on guitar. The duo performs a mix of covers and original songs in genres ranging from classic rock to pop and beyond. Hailing from South Florida, their music project formed unofficially when they met in 2014, and they’ve been jamming together ever since. Lana & Kevin will deliver their collaboration direct to you from their living room and onto the Luna Star stage.
