TWO ELVIN FOLK A NEW GENERATION OF FOLK SINGERS
Folkadelic singer songwriters, Mandy Lane and Kelsey Blue Lane, started out in our high school choir and have been playing music together ever since. They were the only two alto in choir so we were always placed next to each other.
When these young songwriters compose their music, it comes from a place of psychological solitude; a place where our deepest desires, fears, pain, and most exotic pleasures are awakened, to then surface our consciousness and manifest themselves through the simple pen. Mandy and Kelsey are inspirited by the manifestations which spark ideas that collect in us like a plethora of physical and spiritual innervation; passionate excitations which have no other choice but to climax to the heavens of our wildest imagination; to discharge from the very core of us, and sing like a river flowing through all those open to our words and song; And in this way, we are never alone. We call this process music.
