RICKY VALIDO is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, and dynamic performer whose voice and style are unique and captivating.

Valido is a Cuban American, his grandparents settled in the United States from Cuba to Hialeah Florida in the 1960’s.
When Valido was eight, his grandmother bought him his first acoustic guitar and shortly after he embarked in his song writing journey.
Towards the end of high school began to apply his voice to the songs that he wrote, ultimately launching his early career as a country music artist.
 
Ricky best describes his music as modern traditional classic country music. He is influenced by traditional country, soul, bluegrass, rock, blues and other genres of music. Country music is a strong foundation for experimentation and exploration for his songwriting and sound. Artists who fuel Ricky’s songwriting and style include Johnny Cash, 
Waylon Jennings, George Jones and modern day acts such as Sturgill Simpson, Chris Stapleton, and Jason Isbell just to name a few.
Over the last eighteen months Ricky has flooded the South Florida market playing at least three to four times a week at various venues, festivals , private shows, sports stadiums, and charity events.
At 24, Ricky has compiled a resume offering promise for future stardom in country music. Ricky’s passion as singer/songwriter and performer is what drives and motivates him to be successful in his country music career.
