LAIBLE BLU

Laible Blu is a folk troubadour who accompanies himself on guitar. He performs British, Irish and Scottish folk songs,, American blues, ballads and novelties of all sorts, Vintage country, plus a little Jewish music.

Laible has returned to Florida after performing throughout the country. Before that he was known as Michael Loren, a highly successful and sought after entertainer on radio and television. In Florida he appeared in Jewish Vauderville Theatre and in major hotels such as the Fountainbleu, Eden Rock and Palm-Aire Hotel. He also performs on international cruise ships He then journeyed into the Deep South, where he performed in the clubs of Nashville, at the Hapeville Opera House and as a regular on the Country Boy Eddie Show in Alabama. In Atlanta he appeared as “Loren the Minstriel” at the World of Sid and Marty Kroft in Atlanta. In California he continued to perform in clubs while attending the music school at Orange Coast College.
Traveling on to New York City, his rich baritone voice took him into the Greenwich Village cafe scene, where he appeared at such places as the Cafe Wah, Cafe Bizzare and the Gaslight.
