2019 International Blues Challenge winner
Durham, NC’s Jon Shain is a veteran singer-songwriter, accomplished fingerstyle guitar picker, and an internationally touring artist. A recent finalist at the International Blues Challenge, Shain keeps the Piedmont Blues alive while incorporating its traditional elements into his own modern approach – mixing in narrative songs with bluegrass, swing, and ragtime flavors, as well. His latest albums are a joint effort with frequent Prairie Home Companion guest, Joe Newberry and an acoustic blues tribute to WC Handy.
Matthew Jontiff is a musician from Miami, Florida.  He is a performer and producer.  As a multi-instrumentalist, he plays guitar, piano, bass and sings.  He enjoys listening to and creating all kinds of music, but tends to lean more towards jazz, R&B, funk, psychedelic, and hip-hop. Currently, Matthew is creating music in a one man band setting, while trying to mesh genres and feature other artists who may add a fresh take or perspective to the music.
TUCKER RONZETTI
Tucker Ronzetti writes poems and, with agony and ecstacy, they become songs.   He has played blues, folk and rock music with friends and bands called the Remaindermen and Carnival Haggis, and still does sometimes, but plays solo too, mostly with a guitar.  He finds joy traveling to new places, making new friends, and seeing new things, as well as traveling to old places, meeting old friends and seeing old things, and coming home to Miami and the Jersey Shore.  His new album is called “Bungalows and Broken Hearts”.
