F.C.S.F. PRESENTS MIKE BARRA, JOHN HOLLAND AND ALEX MORENO

Mike Barra is a local singer songwriter/folksinger who’s been around performing since the early seventies. Mike’s been writing songs for 47 years and playing guitar for fifty-one. To Barra, lyrics are what it’s all about. If you share this lyrics first thing, you gotta hear this!

John Holland, lead guitarist, has roots in jazz and country, with plenty of Phish and Grateful Dead influence. Most of all Holland really knows how to have fun. And you can hear it in his playing. If you love over-the-top guitar work, you gotta hear this!

Alex Moreno, who was born with perfect pitch, found an electric bass in the garbage when he was 9 and started playing solos…very good, very scary ones! He’s has an original death metal band called Eunoia, performing all Alex compositions. If you groove on unbelievable bass, you gotta hear this!

The contrast is unique yet complimentary and tasteful: folk, jazz and metal based players, coming together as a trio to perform Barra’s very eclectic compositions. Oh yeah, he’s all over the map. A healthy dose of Sci Fi Country by William Frank Smith will be shared. That you gotta hear because it is a genre unto itself!
