DOUG ADAMZ
SING OUT MAGAZINE described Doug Adamz’ music as, “melodic fingerpicking, stalwart declaratory baritone and a wide range of songwriting styles, including
Tex-Mex, blues and balladry. Doug accompanies himself simply on guitar and harmonica.” He is an original and engaging performer; sometimes hilarious, sometimes displaying a dazzling mastery of his instruments–always soulful. Adamz has two solo albums, “Bernardo’s Serenade” (a collection of his songs) and “Guitar Solos” (instrumental works for acoustic guitar). He’s also known as founder of the internationally known world-beat group Light Rain and as composer for The Joffrey Ballet and the The Kronos Quartet. Some of his instrumental work has been used on television shows and a major motion picture.

He is an excellent guitarist…a terrific guitarist!

Doug is an multi-talented incredible musician, who also happens to be very funny and exudes a warmth about him while on stage. Doug managed to get the entire audience involved in his performance and had everyone in stitches. We left that evening commenting what a great performance we just were part of.
