Born in Argentina and living in Miami, singer and songwriter Alejandra Czarny has been performing with her guitar for many years. Her compositions are based on South American rhythms. Her repertoire also includes Latin American songs in Spanish and Portuguese. The language of her songs explores women’s issues, the human nature, and her feelings of being a “foreigner.”
Ms. Czarny has recorded two CD’s “Bajo las Blancas estrellas” (Under the white stars) and “Songs about Songs.” This collection of Yiddish songs enabled her to bring her music to many parts of South America as well as the U.K.,Spain and Canada.
