In celebration of our final open mic session of 2016, Luna Star presents a full English afternoon high tea with scones, cream, jam, an assortment of finger sandwiches and a choice of fine teas. The tea service will be followed by an illustrated presentation by our own Perfesser Rick Wallach about the remarkable life and career of Victorian mathematician, theologian, philosopher and photography pioneer Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, better known as the author of Alice in Wonderland under his pen name of Lewis Carroll. We’ll look at his famous tale from the perspectives of psychology, mythology and folklore, concluding with a retrospective of some of the many amazing films based on the story.
