Max Schwartz brings his new Miami-based bluegrass band to Luna Star, featuring an eclectic array of ripping banjo tunes, acoustic fan-favorites, country ballads, and topical bluegrass songs. They will perform the works of Chris Brashear, Hot Rize, Alison Krauss, Laurie Lewis, Merle Haggard, and others.
His band features fiddler Ariele Macadangdang and guitarist Bryan Dubrow (they play in American Darling Valve, who will play Luna Star later this month) as well as the tasteful mandolin and mandola playing of Rob Saunders, and Dr. Nick Petumenos on the double bass.
