ADRIENNE Z Adrienne is a singer/songwriter, arranger and producer from Massachusetts who performs mostly solo and with her band the Adrienne Z Band and Jade Storm. Early in her music career, Adrienne achieved local success in the metro Boston area both in local clubs and the streets of Harvard Square Cambridge. After producing her first release, Once Step Closer, her song “Overboard” became the most requested song on local college radio station, WERS. Soon after producing her second release, “Dust into Dawn”, she was nominated for a Boston Music Award and featured in Boston Women Magazine. After her third release, Looking Within Looking Without,” she got heavy airplay on college radio and a feature article in Songtalk Magazine published by the National Academy of Songwriters where they called Adrienne an “enchanting and exquisite talent.” She soon joined forces with fellow singer songwriter Marsia Shuron Harris aka Mother Turtle and together they performed throughout the Keys and New England in the duo Aye. Their album “Sweet Life” became an underground hit and was chosen as 1 of the top 10 albums by the Greenfield Recorder. Aye received stellar reviews in Northeast Performer Magazine, The Boston Globe, The Key West Citizen and Key West the Newspaper, to name a few. Adrienne has produced 6 full length CD’s of her original music 2 of which are with the bands Aye and Injade, and one CD single called “Feels Like Christmas”. Adrienne’s music is played both in the Keys and on internet and radio stations worldwide. Most of her music comes from her life experiences, though Adrienne loves to collaborate and has written songs with well over a dozen people over the years. Sean Heaney, former contributing writer for Songtalk Magazine summed up Adrienne’s music in the article put out by the National Academy of Songwriters, “The way her audience listens to her songs is perhaps the highest compliment paid to her engaging song stories.” Currently Adrienne is performing, teaching, arranging and producing music in her studio Conchtown Sounds.
