ONE EYED CATS
One Eyed Cats is an original rockabilly/country band, playing almost exclusively original material. We are five players;
Allen Reid (lead vocal, lead guitar, songwriter)
Mady Land (lead and harmony vocal)
Alan Shapey (rhythm guitar)
Dennis Langel (bass, slide guitar, harmonica)
Ira Zadikow (drums)

We have been together 10 years, are based in New York City and Southern Florida, have “closed” some of New York’s legendary dives like; Kenny’s Castaways, National Underground, Village Lantern, and played all the “usual suspects” in the New York Metropolitan area.

We play “toe-tappin’, hand-clappin’, foot-stompin’, feel good music”, the kind of music that makes you want to get up and dance. The kind of music that reminds you of a simpler time; when girls wore poodle skirts and tight sweaters, guys wore pegged pants and black leather jackets, everybody hung out at the soda shop on Friday night, the high school hop was the coolest thing in town, and Elvis, Buddy Holly, and Carl Perkins were at the top of the charts.
